Good movie adaptation, don't read the manga. You've been warned. Story quite simple, don't bother finding loop holes, enjoy it as it is. What make it's good is the fear factor, something that close to extinction in modern zombie movies. Remember, this is Japan, gun ownership is not something common in there.
