Woof. Felt like I was playing Witcher 3 with the amount of bugs. Some are close to game breaking and you have to make sure you have fast travel kits just in case you get stuck in a wall (I think my count was 5 times).
I loved the first game. The story and game play fit well together. This one, not so much. Sure it's still pretty and you're still fighting machines and rebels but the voice acting for NPCs is rough, it doesn't feel like it fits. The story and data points you're collecting are now mainly journel entries about local native populations and their complaints instead of finding history from the past (though the black boxes were great).
The ending was pretty bad. The fights were anticlimactic and you could see most things coming from a mile away bit the fact that this game ends without actually ending is pretty annoying. It was almost like the writers were like let's stop here and hope we can think up enough for an additional game.
I had high hopes for this and literally bought a PS5 to make sure it looked as good as possible - which this game is beautiful. Just a very underwhelming ending to a glitchy and rather tedious sequel.
