It's the little details that make me love this movie. I feel like the studio really did their best to give us a good holiday classic. This is one for the books.

This movie genuinely made me wonder if they're even trying anymore. Or if they're just pumping out cash grabs. There was no point making this movie, and there is no point to go see it. It's not horror, it's a few sudden loud noises and confusing scene transitions.

I was hoping that the title "La La Land" would tie some of the random music numbers together but not once did there seem like there was much structure. Just an idea that a man and a woman would meet, deny their love for each other, and then fall in love. Now, we've all heard it before but why is there such an outstanding amount of this pumped-out garbage? Their dialogue was so unrealistic even these two great actors couldn't convince anyone there was actual chemistry. I'm glad the director studied color theory and musicals... I wish they had taken time and studied how to direct a good story as well.

I'd give it five stars if the wife wasn't as annoying as she was. I know this came out ages ago, but wow I dislike her. Never once did I think that she deserved her husband, kids, and family back. Dumb woman deserves nothing. Robin was great though!

Genuinely need to take the rating of this movie down. This movie is two hours of pure garbage. Will is an absolutely terrible person that is so hard to root for. Half of the things he says is just smart guy filler proving he's smart. Like...what on earth? We couldn't even see a little bit more of the interesting parts? Like his past? Or his brother? What's the plot of this? How smart he is and how he hates therapy? The romance is second-rate...if that. I have never seen such a forced connection. I can't even tell WHY he likes this girl. When the girl asks him to go to California with her he screams at her, pins her against the wall, and punches the wall next to her head. I wasted two hours of my life hoping this character would have any moment of me actually liking him. I mean...the movie is all about him. Yet, he's not even remotely deserving of any good ending. Every moment is just plain boring. I just had to turn it off, the boy genius being great at everything trope is old now and it had to be old then too. This just isn't a good movie and I don't see the appeal anyone has for it.

If I could somehow rate it 0 I would. Opening scene is 15 year old girls showering with A LOT showing. Absolutely disgusting. I'm disappointed.
