Almost a year ago, I started to notice that the anchors/hosts started to over-enunciate and exaggerate, in different ways, the word "Saturday" when going to commercial. Almost to differentiate their Saturday show from another show like CBS "Sunday". After it continued each and every time they went to break for each and every show, becoming dramatic and odd, it made me pause. I'ts beyond annoying, like the hosts think it's something precious. It's too distracting for me because it is terribly terribly exaggerated. I can't even watch the programming now which I'm sure includes some lovely stories.
