Richard Ingram

A nice re-imagining of the characters that opens the way for more interesting stories - stories that mirror our own times while set in the Depression and interwar years. Each character has levels of depth the original TV series could never have captured in its time and place, so potential for more complex stories. The actors are universally excellent, solid, and the writing is tight.

Damn fine adaptation. Shows you don't want superheroes to be real - if you had any doubts and never read any Alan Moore work.
