I got second hand embarrassment from this book, from the cringey wording to the unrealistic perfections of Atlas, it made me want to throw up, Colleen Hoover stole my heart with IEWU, but as far as I know, I will not be reading her books from now on. What probably turned me off from the book the most was the dialogue at the end, I understand that Lily and Atlas had this really fairy tale relationship that every couple pictures when they were 16, but why continue writing and confessing you love to each other over and over again. One hell of a honeymoon period if you ask me. The main point I want to highlight is that readers need something new and interesting in sequels, and I don't feel like the new elements in ISWU were highlighted enough to begin with. Overall don’t waste your time with the sequel of IEWU, stick with the original people.
