they lost the element they had in the first movie. I thought the musical aspect brought parts we never got to see in the first Joker. I will still say Joaquin Phoenix is one of the best Jokers i've seen but - The Writers made it feel like they just gave up on the entire movie. Around the ending, once you got to the middle you get the sense of the feeling it was rushed.
