Unique horror story. No jump scares, but definitely terrifying to imagine what may happen to you if you, someday, experience sleep paralysis yourself.

I was hoping to see mythical creatures living under the forest. Or a marooned alien feeding on villagers, or even a French version of the chupacabra. But no. All I got were some funny creature noises chittering in the dark. And crickets. I gave the series a fair chance, though. Sat through 5 episodes. Seemed to me more like a small town plagued by violence and homicide rather than a sinister supernatural presence. It got boring. Left the series midway and am giving it a thumbs down.

Absolutely loved it. It would have been stunningly different experience if it was available on the big screen, but watching it on Netflix was still enjoyable.
