Still stirs so many emotions no matter how many times I've watched this film. It still evokes sadness, happiness, comedy and heartfelt emotion.
The performances are utterly sublime. This is as close to anyone will ever get to what it must have been like to be 'different '.back then,; before mental illness was really understood.
A privilege to watch, exceptional performances by actors who immersed themselves and took the time to understand what it was like to be different.
Nicholson is on par and provides the antisitis to how these people were perceived. An absolute gem of a film and one that I'm privileged to show to my family.

The soundtrack of my late 20's. Absolutely pinned the mood of the time combined with the coming of the digital age and an era of times gone by. Moody, Beatles-ish , and a feast for the ears. Start to finish, a classic example of the ultimate 'album' experience. A modern masterpiece.
