This is what I consider to be one of those “not to be missed books “ for kids between the ages of 10 and 13. It reminds children that we are not all created equal and some of us are born with serious physical and/or mental challenges that are permanent. A very positive way of introducing to your children how important it is to recognize how their behavior and attitudes can make growing up so difficult for children with disabilities of all kinds and how they can reach out to help these individuals. A great way to teach your children the value system you want them to grow up with. This is that book that you can read together chapter by chapter . It is also written with appropriate humor and light touch. This is a wonderful story for all of us.
