Loved the Original in 1973 with Steve McQueen and Dustin Hoffman...
Read both books Papillon and Le Banco (the continued journey after escaping on a raft of coconuts )..
This 2017 film does justice... (and I usually don't watch remakes but after seeing the trailer it was a must see)
Good casting...locations...film score.
