The movie was too much, tragic overkill. What struck me was how alone the heroine was once her nuclear family was gone, no mother,father, mother in law or father in law. No brothers, sisters, friends, counsellor......nothing, no God, sad if one cannot turn to an all encompassing God. I felt saddened but happy too that God is with me. Four stars because it does lead the viewer to realize how precious life and our loved ones are.

The diet did help me lose weight. The issue I have is the cheese, heavy cream, very high clogging animal fats. He says that scientifically fats do not cause cholesterol, sounds like the person that said as the body is 73 per cent fat our body needs and likes a lot. I did lose, instead of a sandwich I had cheese and omelettes with cheese and lots of avocado. But with such an emphasis one negates fruits and vegetables. Informative, white potatoes are straight sugar.

I found the book lacked depth and passion, it was more like a travel journal a young person might write. We had coffee, Singapore has an airport to die for, I found a great therapist in Thailand etc, my daughter puked, we had more coffee. I was a bit disconcerted when the Australian chapter was clearly cut and pasted with material she had written for the Queensland board of tourism. She didn't really show an interest in the lives of others and she does think she is a little special.
