I would recommend this series for the action, suspense and development of characters in Season 1. Season 1 was the best, Season 2 - mediocre and Season 3 - a great disappointment. I suppose in the 1st season I justified the necessity of unreasonable killings and the destruction of innocent life as a means to an end. Doron’s disregard for all Palestinians is justifiable because terrorism is wrong, and he has to catch the bad guys by any means necessary. However, after realizing that the premise of each season is the destruction of innocents who are just trying to make the best of their lives - Shirin, Bashir and his wife, the brother in Season 2 and then Bashar - I realized how shallow and biased this series is. I realized that the good guys (anti-terrorist team) are actually the bad guys, and that they will always win. I understand that it’s meant to
entertain, which it did well for the first season, but when it’s the same story every season, how entertaining is that? I’m hoping that if there is a season 4, it has more depth, does not follow the exact plot as the first 3 seasons and it doesn’t feel like a pointless action flick. I am rooting for further development of Bashar, whose life was derailed.
