Here is my poem called LOCKDOWN Its been a year since lockdown, its bad what can I say ? There,s nothing good about it, I look forward to a better day I,m not spending any money, the account is looking good though I,d rather have a holiday and be somewhere in the Med. I have lost three cruises and a trip to Scotland on a bus, have had the money back so must not make a fuss At first we clapped on Thursdays to applaud the NHS That stopped when it got colder, we just want it all to cease. Thousands of peoples have lost their lives and how many more will die? Must do the right thing and bring this to an end, Maureen Hughes,
