This movie is downright awful. The movie is not funny; it's just cheesy with the humour for 10 year old. Taika really misunderstood why Thor Ragoronk was such a hit. Thor's previous two movies were both dealt with serious and dark themes with only a few humorous moments sprinkled here and there. But those movies were meant to be taken seriously. So it made sense to take a little break from the dark themes and shows some levity and humor for the third film. You can still enjoy the drama of the film and you can still feel genuine emotions from the serious scenes without it being too overdramatic. THIS movie has no clue what's it's doings. It is all cheesy comedy and nothing more. The attempts of drama are just undercutted by unfunny jokes and gags. I feel so bad for Bale. Such a waste of his talent and what could have been a really good villain. He got shafted by the plot. Jane Foster's whole story is not interesting. She is Mary Sue to the max and there is no believable chemistry between her and Thor at all. It is just awkward and not even in a cute and sweet way. It is just cringe. Other characters and plot lines are just wasted for the sake of Thor and Jane's nonexistent romance. Thor leaving the Guardians because he lost his passion for combat is such a stupid writing choice. This film would have been so much more better if it just involved Thor and the Guardians. I did not care for the actual plot. The writing is just underwhelming.
