A real piece of garbage!
Unintelligible, basically, no plot.
Supposed to be L. Ron Hubbard, but, it's all just impossible to watch.
Ordinary people, Joaquin Phoenix looks awful, P.S. Hoffman nearly dead from Heroin - Just terrible... No cinematic value, no perceptible story, just pure Gestalt going nowhere, and badly...
Poor quality filmmaking, and bad acting all around.

Silly. Not good.
Ivan Reitman made Animal House.
This film was cheap to shoot, and has star-power, and it made out commercially...
Other than that, it is pretty bad.
