Ok, the backdrop and premise sparked my interest but this is god awful tv production. The acting and editing is atrocious especially Pia and her mother Alex. By the third episode, I was wishing this show would be called The Dead Girl From Oslo. The Israeli merc rescue attempt is quite hilarious in its incompetence but the plot and subplots of this series is too annoying to care. I’m going to see this to the end because who doesn’t like a good train wreck?

Rather than the plot of the movie making the social statements, we get the actors standing around making statements about the state of the world. The acting was bad because the script was bad, people don’t talk like that and especially during an impending apocalypse. I love Mahershala Ali but why does he always look like he’s about to cry in every scene? Why does the camera swoop around so much? It’s annoying, Bottom line, this movie is just simply a bore.

Seasoned FBI Special Agent In Charge saw something in a young cop based on a random kitchen conversation and thought he “needed” her on his task force because of her special “insights”. Sorry, nope, I don’t buy it. I hate when the script treats the audience like they’re stupid. Lead actor is also the producer, writer is also the director, the rest of cast, like this movie, is forgettable.

Ok, so it’s not a perfect movie … a bit formulaic and the main character is not that likable but the movie’s heart is in the right place. It’s quite an enjoyable watch as the performances were great.

It’s a slow burn all right, so much so that it took me three viewings to finish the movie. Lots of eye movement and gestures and brooding music and by the end, I thought I had missed something crucial in the story but I didn’t — the story is really just that simple and the payoff isn’t worth the 2 hours.

We’ve seen these plot lines hundreds of times before but this time, combine it with bad acting and line recitals. Watch Friday Night Lights, Hoosiers, Remember the Titans, Varsity Blues, Last Chance U, etc instead of this drivel.

Beautifully shot but ultimately vapid and dumb Tarantino-esque movie. Everything seems to have been lifted from Tarantino movies except for the smart dialogue and decent plot.

This movie is shyte. It’s full of shyte acting, shyte tropes from all the spy action movies you’ve seen before, shyte cgi, shyte dialogue, shyte plot holes, etc Gal Gadot is always eye candy but the shyte story and shyte action choreography can’t save the movie.

It’s probably a good show but every other scene is people yelling and screaming at each other so much so that it becomes annoying and distracting. The kitchen is already a frenetic place but adding all the noise and yelling and commotion and the the side “personalities” doesn’t make a good watch.
