Great story and very fun - Scooby Doo meets Lovecraft is the perfect pitch for this. Personally I thought it was overwritten, making it a bit hard to get into and occasionally distracting. Wild over attention to detail, wordy sentences, long block paragraphs for a story that is meant to be a fun and campy read didn’t align. Definitely still recommend for a well plotted trip of nostalgia into childhood detective fantasies.
