I'm curious about the scene when the hero/pilot with baby Akiko met with kind girl who was recuperating in the hospital. When the couple were hugging something weird partially appeared on the neck of the girl like a tattoo of a lizard or an insect. Maybe it's an idea that she survived only because she was saved by some kind of crypto-terrestrials where Godzilla came from. But why save her? Was it because she was kind and pure? I'm sure the sequel will explain this question bugging me. Also, since Godzilla was regenerating at the end. Btw, I had a hunch that the girl survived in Ginza since her body wasn't recovered and when the mail came in and received by Akiko's babysitter, I thought, ah that's a sign, I knew she had survived that shockwave.
