I really liked this series for the most part. It reminded me somewhat of Shutter Island. But it dragged on a little too long with too many subplots. It got a little too melodramatic in the middle and became a little sappy. It was quite confusing at times but it did hold my interest. I wish the main actor didn't smoke so much. I also think he needed a haircut and a shave. He looked like the wolf man from the old Lon Chaney Jr. movie.

Beautiful French location. I liked the first two episodes but by the third I couldn't keep track of all the back and forth and skipping around. I had a hard time keeping the characters straight. The plot became very hard to follow. I started episode three but it got even more confusing and most of the dialogue was in French. Unfortunately I just gave up on it.

I wanted to like this film. I heard so much about it. Cillian Murphy is an outstanding actor. All the actors were outstanding. But I found the film extremely boring and very hard to follow and just all over the place. Too much dialogue and mumbling. No real storyline. I guess I am not very bright but I couldn't make heads nor tails of this movie. Cillian is my favorite actor, so great in Peaky Blinders but I just couldn't get into this movie even though he did an excellent job as usual. He does deserve the Academy award. I didn't finish this movie.

Yes the movie left me with a lot of questions and there were lots of loose ends. However I really enjoyed it and kept me glued to it the whole time. I didn't care that it didn't totally come together.

This Movie adaption Is only loosely based On what really happened. The real story is much more grisly that this film adaption.

It started out really good. But for those who know the real story, this is almost totally fictional. I gave up on it when I realized it was totally not true to the real story. Billy's mother died when he was 14 but they showed him as a grown man and his mother still alive. Also he did not change his name to Billy until later. His real name was Henry Also the towns they lived in were not true to where they really lived.

I enjoyed the first part of the move and then it went downhill fast. It became just another generic bloody vampire horrow flick. Wasted my time on this one.

The one on Hulu called CANDY with Jessica Biels is far superior. Elizabeth Olsen is too pretty for Candy Montgomery. Jessica looks like the real Candy. Jesse Plemons is miscast. I couldn't even make it through two episodes.
