Oh, where to begin? Just no. If you want to watch Dickens, this is not it. GE is a brilliant tale, full of complex characters. There's darkness but there is humour too. Main gripe? Messy additions to the plot which add nothing - just undermines and detracts. Watch a different version of GE (or watch Bleak House - currently available).
