Ive played a majority of fromsoftware games. Ds 1 2 and 3. Elden ring, sekiro and Ive even beaten jedi fallen order on grandmaster. Now I am playing through again after my ps4 overheated and wiped all of my games and progress. Gotta say, I am not enjoying myself. Sekiro was perfect for counters and reengagement. Fallen order did a terrible job. The parries dont work how they should. I mean, Im f*n jedi? Are you kidding me? This is the sorriest excuse for a jedi EVER. I dont even want to complete this game again and Im not going to drop the difficulty when obviously the game mechanics are bunk. I mean it was a struggle to get through this on grand master last time, now it just doesnt even seem worth playing again. I know yall are working on the next game, so you may want to consider making the player feel more like a jedi and not a god d@#n padawan. The force bar is tiny. The usage per action is huge, depleting what little force you do get. I mean seriously. What f*n jedi can cast a couple force powers in the actual star wars universe that isnt a padawan. Not to mention, you only get slow, push, eventually a couple others after hours and hours and hours of grinding. Then a majority of the attack tree requires force to use them. What the hell is that? I literally avoid using any of them in case I just need to use force push to maybe knock a couple guys off a cliff. And thats a big maybe. Then theres the fact that a LIGHTSABER cant stagger much of anything, and yet you do the math and a lightsaber literally melts through solid metal doors that are a foot thick, but cant kill most enemies by cutting em to bits and smoldering pieces like they would in the star wars universe. You need to bring the star wars realism standard to your next game or Im out on playing any star wars games in the future. I get it though, yall get paid either way, regardless of how realistic you make it. All I know is if I have a lightsaber that cuts through 1 foot solid metal doors, they would have no problem slicing storm troopers in half in one shot, spider legs removed with a swipe and giant troll looking creatures would be delimbed lickity slice. Disappointed. I qlmost didnt want to complete the game when I was on the final boss last time around because counters were almost completely useless and it only took a couple hits to die, yet using the same tool(lightsaber) I had to hack and hack and hack and hack away at her life in what seemed and endless endeavor. And after I finally did win, I didnt play the game again until a couple years later and I am totally disinterested in getting the achievement back on my console. The only reason you get 2 stars is because the graphics are decent, but you flunk in gameplay. Jedi? Pshh Edit: I dropped the rating from 2 stars to one star becaude I want every bit of your ratings to go down after reading through a bunch of 1 star reviews and they all made great points to your failings in this game. I think I have decided I am done purchasing star wars games because of this utter failure across the board. Anyone who wants the truth about this game should read ALL THE 1 STAR REVIEWS. Anyone giving more than 1 star is being nice for no reason or trying to give the benefit of the doubt for a poorly thought out and implemented game. Wish I could rate 0/5, but you know google.
