The horror seemed overdone and there still seemed to be unexplained parts at the end. Why did Lorna end up in jail when Aife was apparently dead. The serial took too long to arrive at a point where there some paper work came to light which started to lift the mystery. Having said that it was totally holding, powered by a wonderful performance by Ruth Wilson as Lorna, a troubled unmarried mother whose baby had been sold by the nuns.
