Please don’t discount this movie off the bat just because it looks “woke”, because y’all, I so so loved seeing the love and sisterhood of these superheroes!! As someone who grew up fangirling over Marvel, I ADORE Kamala Khan and love seeing my childhood self as a superhero🥰 I felt like this movie finally humanized Captain Marvel, which was overdue. Also, I looooved the team dynamics that developed from their powers being intertwined! I know it didn’t have as great of an opening weekend, but it’s definitely worth watching, and you only really need to see Captain Marvel and the Ms. Marvel TV show to fully appreciate what’s going on :)

I loved this show so freaking much!!! I’ve been a bit slow to catch up on the Marvel TV shows since movies are more my vibe, but WOW, this was a great reminder of why I love Marvel😍😭 don’t be tricked by the first episode into thinking you can’t enjoy this show if you’re an adult! I’m so excited to see where Kamala’s story goes next, and I’m pumped to see her on the big screen in the fall🥰
