Brilliant series.The attention to period detail is well done.Vienna backdrops are beautiful : the Austro / Hungarian Empire is on the cusp of downfall.The 2 principal characters Rheinhardt and Liebermann are a contrasting duo as they solve the City's gruesome but stylish murders : each one has a brilliant physcological "twist" : good escapist TV.
