Only Redford’s Jeremiah Johnson rivals this one. It’s the best I’ve seen of all the westerns ever. Yes, there have been real beauties out there, but Eastwood & the other very well acted portrayals give the truth and show the grit necessary during a time in our history when we didn’t all agree about our nations most precious asset...freedom.
