This movie was great, honestly. I love Sofia Coppola's directors decisions and I think the movie accurately depicts Priscilla's life. Her teenage years were portrayed accurately, like an actual teenage girl. Elvis was obviously a good singer, but just a bad person. Many Elvis films that I have seen, have sugar coated his actions (seeing a 15 year old girl romantically as he was in his 20's) and I'm glad this film didn't.
This film was so aesthetically pleasing to watch with the makeup, hair, accents and soundtrack. I just love the style of it.
You can have your OWN opinions on the movie, but it's SO clear that this movie has a low rating because of these die-hard Elvis fans that can't fathom the fact that he was a bad person. He preyed on Priscilla and knew he could get her because of her age and his status. Elvis was depicted accurately in this film, but yall can't get that through your heads yet. Maybe in another few years when most of his fan base is dead idk.
GREAT WATCH, maybe the audience is to teenage girls (around Priscillas age at the time), and not to creepy old guys that defend Elvis like their lives depend on it!
