I really had some huge expectations for this game, with the fun I had with 7 I really hoped for 8 to do good. The first few hours of the game is the peak of it. After Lady and Donna, the game goes beyond outrageous even for Resident Evil standards and I've been a fan since the first one. Gameplay wise it is fun. The story towards the end for me is a one time gig. Should have kept the tone on the beginning through out the game.

I do not know where to start. I was a huge fan of the first one because it reminded me of clock tower with the atmosphere. Broken Porcelain seemed to have steered clear from what they did with Tormented Father and add a slew of mechanics that do not seem to factor much in to the gameplay of it. The story is a jumbled mess with the cutscenes ending abruptly and the timeline of how they decide to tell the story, I found myself uninterested with even trying to understand it because the way they are telling it is was off putting. The story with Linn and Jennifer could have had a bigger impact but just seemed forced and out of place with the overall game. I wanted to genuinely care about it but it came off too robotic to me. Gameplay has a fair share of bugs but when it comes to inputting a button and the character does not react can be frustrating; especially when dealing with the stalkers. Some areas seemed harder then they should be not because of the stalker but the problem being the character not picking up the item to use as self defense. I wanted to enjoy the game, but I believe they tried doing too much and it came out like this. Tormented father although not perfect was better handled because it had a simple premise and mechanics.
