If you’re a Poe fan, then this will interest you as each episode is loosely based on one of Poe’s works involving a pharmaceutical giant’s family. Each episode incorporates the Poe style and includes a sequence from his works.
A reflection of the opioid crisis of today with the companies money being made by pushing the miracle drug on the public, and as a result of “the deal” made by Roderick and Madeline earlier, the Usher family suffers.
A little visually gruesome at time, but worth the watch. Greenwood, Gugino, Hamill and McDonnell are especially good in this mini-series. Well casted as each plays their role to it’s best.
