Spoiler alert It was supposed to be a prequel, too many things wrong to list , a bunch of kids that wernt allowed to leave the planet did so without any fuss . They made a point of saying they had never seen the sun , so why didn’t they previously take a ship out to see the sun ? (That bit was nit pick) The pulse rifle was more advanced than the one in the future. The Aliens were hesitant to move quicker because rain was holding a pulse rifle . The alien saves rain from falling. The aliens are no longer the threat but back to the threat in Aliens . I am very disappointed, I was always an “Aliens” fan more than Alien however the previous 2 may aswell not have existed. This movie had such great potential to get it right after the likes of covenant . It’s no wonder Cameron didn’t endorse this one . The right order to watch the Alien franchise is …. Alien , Aliens and stop 🛑
