This movie exceeded my expectations. It was a great storyline, well thought out. It let you know the personality's of all the characters making it easier to follow along. Miley Cyrus did a great job..but I wish they would put her in different roles other than always having her play "a rebellious teenager". Her boyfriend also was a good actor and it made you feel they were deeply in love. The Father did a great job, he seemed uncaring at first of Lola (Lol) and her Mom (Demi Moore), but at the end, he became this really sweet sensitive Dad. Demi Moore's boyfriend also did a good job and was very handsome. The movie portrayed the complicated relationship between a mother who loves her daughter and vice versa, but her daughter (Miley) is having her own difficulty and fights with her Mom a lot making it very believable. All in all a very good movie..not great..but not a disappointment. They also played some good music throughout the movie, with my favorite by the "Korgis" 1980 "Everyone's gotta learn sometime". Also, this is **Not** a Chic Flick as some reviews have mentioned.

I tried three times to post in depth and it wouldn't let me, so I will just say that this is one of the most heart warming, entertaining movies I have ever seen. For all you men out there, this is *not* a "Chic Flick" The woman (Kathy Baker) who I believe played the Love of Noah's life in "The Notebook" did an amazing job as Adeline's aka Jenny's daughter. I am not sure if she won any awards or not, but the should have. Blake Lively did a phenomenal job as Adeline aka Jenny who also should have won some type of best actress award. I am embarrassed to say I did not even recognize Harrison Ford. I kept thinking who is this older handsome man in glasses?..lol. I'm used to him playing the tough guy in movies. But he should also have won some type of award for his portrayal of the Husband and then finding out that Jenny was actually his first love "Adeline" and his "Softer side" and in depth raw emotions. So believable. All I can say, because I'm still a bit speechless after just watching this movie, is you won't be disappointed. It pulls you in so much, I didn't even want to pause it to get a snack. Just an amazing movie. No swearing, nude scenes just unbelievable, amazing acting. Dang. At the very End Adeline is "Running away" again from the man who loves her and vice versa. It is snowing again in San Francisco (?) and she gets in an accident, dies and is brought back to life by paramedics and a starting her heart. She then looks in the mirror and notices a gray hair and smiles, knowing she won't be "29" forever anymore.

All in all I was very entertained by this movie and extremely impressed with Adam Sandler 's portrayal of a Middle Eastern "Zohan" wanting to become a hairdresser for Paul Mitchell Salon when he came to America. At first I didn't even recognize him. His middle Eastern accent was spot on. I liked how he kept saying "no, no, no, no" in a soothing voice and he appears very handsome in the movie. He did such a great job I think he should win an award. I'm sure he worked very hard to develop the accent and Zohan character. I do think the "fight scenes" with the pretzel shape he (Zohan) put people in were cute, but the fighting itself was unrealistic. Like he was having a fight with an Israeli (?) while carrying on a conversation about hairstyles and the other man wanting to sell shoes and measuring Zohan's foot while helping Zohan fight the Israeli's (?), was funny but unrealistic. What I didn't like was what seemed to be animal abuse. It made me mad. They took a cat and kicked it around playing "Hackysack" with it kicking the cat to each other while the cat was in obvious distress. Like wth?? Surely they could have used something other than an animal. Then they also showed animal abuse where Zohan squirts a large amount of "Hummus" at the cat while eating dinner again while the cat meowed in distress. It did not show any scenes of the cat getting any attention or love, and they all just laughed at it. Really?? I'm not happy with Adam Sandler for agreeing to do this or the directors of the movie. I'm sure this movie flopped at the box office and went straight to video. Abusing an animal in any way is why I am only giving it two stars.

I only got through the first 15 minutes. Bad acting, didn't make much sense. All it showed is some girl lying down, picking up the doll, then a television emitting light. Then nothing much more than that. A very boring silly start, which was confusing. Nothing happened. Then it goes right into a museum where the doll is in a cradle - two young guys filming the doll saying she was "haunted"..but nothing. They just kept "filming the doll". ?? I got so bored that I couldn't finish the movie. I thought it was just awful. I don't know how people can watch this entire movie.

Disappointed. I didn't really expect much knowing this would be the last of Channing Tatum dances. The only part that was good was the first few minutes and last few. I dozed off in between..that boring. He still hashis great moves from what little you get to see. The acting seemed forced this time from him. The "London Dancers" were okay but way too much ballet and not enough real dancing. Selma Hayek acting like a real rich socialite was fake. The part where the Chauffeur? Says "Don't put a tie on they will all laugh" was ridiculous. I'm not sure what was wrong with the daughter but didn't like her too much either and this kid was narrating it? It seems that none of them really "fit in" the movie. I have seen better acting from her (Selma Hayek) in other movies but this one left me wishing the movie would just end. The first one was the best and I think they should have stopped there.
