This Film bought back so many happy memories for me as I was actually at the Game with with my younger Brother. I bought tickets to the Final after England qualified for the Semi - final against India. Even though India had played well during the Tournament , I was convinced , like so many of my countrymen, that India had absolutely no chance against a very talented England side. How wrong was I . Even during the Final, after India batting first, produced a pretty low score, everyone in the ground thought it was a fore gone conclusion that the mighty West Indian Batting line up would easily knock off the required Runs. However India had other ideas, what drama, excitement and entertainment we received that day. I take my hat off to the whole Indian Team and Kapil Dev for producing a wonderful Tournament, and a match , to stand up to the test of time. Talk about a fighting spirit and a result totally against all expectation. Bravo India !
