I tried with this show…I really did. But it’s bad, and not just because it deviated from the games; I think some character development and world building is a good idea. But that good idea was executed so horribly that it made me mad after every single episode. Honestly, just give Marvel the rights, and let them make a proper Halo show. My biggest gripe is the story writing (or lack there of) because it didn’t have to retell the games, it just had to weave in and out of the framework set by one of the MOST SUCCESSFUL VIDEO GAME FRANCHISES OF ALL TIME; but no…also the obviously purposeful avoidance of the classic, amazing, and nostalgic Halo music and sounds was such a missed opportunity. Also, these things: A. Kwan Han sorry and character: useless B. Master Chief love story: bad & not needed C. 3:1 ratio of drama to action: backwards D. Constant helmet-less Master Chief: Bad
