I am just back from a Beautiful movie ‘సీతా రామం’ Great movie. Thrilling, enchanting, mesmerising, moving, poetic, musical and romantic. It has multiple angles in the background Hindu-Muslim, India-Pakistan, Terrorists-Army, Rich-Poor, Honest-Corrupt, Idealistic-Opportunistic etc., But the core continues to be the love saga between the 2 main characters. The director set the movie period setting between 1964-1984..... brilliant artwork, photography, choreography, music, heart touching dialogues that convey the story convincingly. Every shot is so well picturised, so brilliant that one feels like watching it again to see what is happening in the background. It’s like a moving poetry. The dialogues are brilliant with sharpness and wit and are easy to understand too. The screenplay is brilliant, telling the story in flashbacks and leaving lot of suspense. At the end there is happiness, sadness, grief, satisfaction and clearing of confusion and gratification for every role involved in the cast. He is very clear that the message is about the beautiful love story between సీతా-రామ characters. Coming to casting and characters, there are many and everyone plays a very important role. Sita Rama have the most important roles and Rashmika as Afreen has third most prominent role. Brilliant casting. The heroine had expressive eyes and is a good dancer. Rashmika was given a unconventional role and she did very well. All other actors did well too. Songs, lyrics and Background music was top notch. ‘Oh Seetha..’ song was the best. It had the 80s Ilayaraja touch. It’s a must watch movie and I strongly recommend. The director reminded me of 1980s and 90s Mani Ratnam. Benchmark movie in Tollywood 👍🏻
