I grew up with wild Elephants in the Tea Gardens of Assam & I was waiting to watch Poacher. In Kaziranga of course it was the Rhino being hunted,but here in Kerala its the Elephant. They're lovely animals,mostly mind their own business & are wonderful to watch in the wild. Poacher is made with a certain rustic rawness that immediately reminded me of Assam & the forest lights.I could relate fully to it. The story line is taut,thrilling,realistic,the actors say what is needed & no more. No unnecessary dialogues. Superb acting & wonderful direction. I commend them all,crew & cast.

Art is all very well, but the unsettling overtones of this very noir film are deeply disturbing. An eye for an eye, or Karma...if that's how one wants to see it ,is idiotically presented. That said, the acting is brilliant, the direction even more so. But I'm wondering what the psychological effects on the young actors may be. And how it could impact younger,more impressionable members of this movie's audience. A waste of talent & time.

Very engaging.

I watched this movie as a child. I remember being absolutely enthralled & terrified,both at the same time. It was a fantastic movie for me ie, at that time, and that's the way I want to remember it. A fabulous, dark,scary, gripper.

The message from Arrival is of Love, love & pure love. Other feelings...empathy, sensitivity, kindness, depth, gentleness, understanding....and most of all...acceptance. of the things that were, are, and will be .My take ? Loved the movie, technically, enjoyed it emotionally, it did something wierd to me, touched some pretty deep bits inside of me. But that's me. If I had the power to change my life, I would. For sure.

I loved watching Mumbai diaries. Having watched every second of the actual attack on Bombay, but obv from the press angle,it was an eye opener to watch it from the angle of a hospital and its staff. Having seen every documentary on the attacks, it was like a horror movie unfolding, but dramatised and then revisited. I like the series for its faithful presentation of the truth, the taut direction & handling of actual footage vs the drama version, the unediting of raw emotion & the very human portrayal of human psychology in all its unsparing ferocity. The acting was superb,the direction ...ditto. If such a series can be enjoyed, then it was,by me at least.

Why make a film.like this one? Half baked, characters lacking depth or roundness, the hero like a baby ,the woman wise beyond her years. Confounding !!

First of all,Hats off to the Actors,both Aayushman & Vani,for taking on a bold script, hats off to the director for deciding on this issue. I am impressed beyond belief. Its time we sensitise ourselves to gender issues. High Time. This said,I loved everything about the movie, superb & natural acting by all concerned. Not a dull moment. Extremely entertaining & soul lifting. 3 cheers To the director & producer. Well done.You guys did good. Proud of you.
