Long ago, NYC had a program in the subways, called, as I recall, “Poetry in Motion.” Awesome. One of the quotes was from Mary Oliver’s ‘The Journey’ (from DREAM WORK). This poem has been framed, with pride of place, everywhere I have lived. Beautiful, true, and so much more than simple encouragement. Superb.
