This show is funny and has a lot of heart. The short format makes it like popcorn, quick and easy to eat. The production value is high and is visually very lush. I didn't approach the show as a way to learn about BDSM and assumed from the first that it was tongue in cheek. (Shag carpeted dungeon and street abductions quickly established this as a satire.) I think it is asking for a lot in 15 minutes to cover all the ins and outs of a formal professional dominatrix relationship and have time for a plot and friendships and stuff. I agree that Twitter should not shadowbann sexworkers and permit Mistress May's account, but that is not the shows fault.

This is a very creative show and the short anthology is a great format. The range of styles and animation quality make for a thoroughly enjoyable binge watch. I am very glad they renewed for a 2nd season but hope they will focus more on the strange episodes like Helping Hand and When Yoghurt Ruled the Earth rather than the super violent "tower defense" episodes (or Suits). Warning: I don't really have an issue with the sensuality in many of the episodes but sometimes it verges on the gratuitous as does the violence in most episodes.
