This hip hop inspired explicit album includes 11 tracks (including an interlude) with XXXtentacion, Jahsah Onfroy leading the vocals of every track, with a few featured female samples. The artist portrays a really personal invitation to his thoughts on media, music, love, and life. The number 17 is a number that "X" references multiple times across the course of his life, even having a tattoo of this number on the ride side of his face.
When this album was released, I informed to me by someone in person, they explained that, "X just made a new album and it's sad and it's about depression"
One of my favorite albums. Can be listened to within a half an hour. Should be listened to from start to end, in a place where you can relax and safely where both of your headphones.
Thank you for reading my review and notes on the album, 17.
