If you're a fan of the joker for who he is as a character and don't like musicals, DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE!!! The film starts off strong but as it goes on, it slowly starts to feel more and more rushed and ultimately makes the most climactic part of the movie feel pointless. Anyone who claims this movie is not a musical is lying to you. All throughout the movie, there are constant musical numbers which pull you out of the moment and it only gets more abrupt later on in the film. This was a new take on introducing Harley Quinn but the writing ultimately changed her dynamic with Joker. It was interesting at first and gave me hope for a fantastic ending to the movie but ultimately led to nothing but disappointment. Let's not even get started on the ending to the movie. Summed up in three words, disappointing and upsetting. There was so much potential and it's almost like writing team decided they were just done and wanted to wrap up. From the most climactic moment onwards, it's just straight downhill. DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE.
