I am writing this review quite late, almost after watching the series for umpteenth time since its first release. Haunting of Hill house is not only a brilliant masterpiece in Horror genre, but has a lot of human emotions within. This series has put a spell on me in the same way Hill house put a spell on Crains'. Everytime I watch, I fall deeper. Starting with its brilliant creator Mike Flanagan, lovely casts (especially Carla Gugino & Henry Thomas) , composers, cinematographers, other casts & crews and last but not the least, the editors, everyone just probably poured out their best for this series. My special respect will always be there for Shirley Jackson for writing this amazing novel. Although Mike Flanagan took the storytelling to the next level with excellent portrayal of each Craine family character.
