This, along with Cryptic Writings, are my two favorite Megadave records. Breadline, Crush Em, Seven, being my personal favorites, along with I'll Be There.
I had the chorus to Breadline pop into my head out of nowhere a week ago, and decided to give the album a spin - love how catchy it is while still having substance to the music behind the lyrics.
For what it's worth, I've been a metal fan for like 20+ years, and typically enjoy stuff a bit crunchier than the pop-metal(?) or alt metal designations I've seen cast at Risk - but if you give me catchy lyrics on top of catchy, riffy arrangements, I'm on board. I'd give it 5 stars, but the Time duo, Wanderlust, the Doc Is Calling, I feel, were missteps in composition when compared to the rest of the tracks.
