I am always dipping a toe in cautiously when it comes to book to television conversions. Especially when it comes to Stephen King material. They always seem to find a way to destroy a perfectly good book and make a disastrous movie or television show out of it. I found season 1 to very watchable. The characters and the actors were great. Season 2 was a little difficult to get through. Basically the same characters, with some being new. The episodes started to seem longer and harder to stay in it. Season 3 I found to be almost unwatchable. The quality of the new actors was less than desirable. The characters were almost to point of being ridiculously bad. Had I not been two seasons deep, I probably would have jumped ship two episodes into the third season. Overall, not too bad. Basically like a stick of Fruit Stripes. Very flavorful at first, and then it becomes flavorless.
