ANTIQUE MUSICAL DELIGHT Series is gem for music lover who wants to understand the core of Indian Music. Before this series I only read about classical music for my UPSC preparation but know I started enjoying it.I would call this series a MUSICAL ADVENTURE as there are hardly any takers for classical things nowadays and though team put it class apart. Naseeruddin Shah at his epic best guides the series but to me new star is born Ritwik Bhowmik(Radhe) ,who keeps such heavy topic, light and entertained effortlessly.His intense scenes with Naseeruddin is matching and last scene during jugalbandi is my favourite.Sheeba Chadda(Radhe Mother),Atul Kulkarni(Digvijay) and all others did there part to make it masterpiece.Music is core of series and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy took it to pinnacle . Plot:Plot revolve around Rathore Gharana (guru-shishya parampara),whose exponent Pandit Radhe Mohan Rathore aka Panditji (Naseerudin shah) and Radhe his disciple and grandson is great admirer of Panditji.He want to have his special musical religious ceremony which only few have achieved.In between new pop sensation Tamanna(Shreya Choudhry) arrvies Jodhpur where his father lives separated from Mother,sings for some music company.Then during her concert Radhe meets Tamanna and chemistry clicks between them.Radhe missed his auspicious religious ceromany because of her and has to go suddhi(arduous process) to get himself sermonized.In between Panditjis son Digvijay arrives there want him to be successor of Rathode Gharana which panditji denies ,though he is propounder of own gharana.This led to tussle for successor and war of music begins which will take you to music of different world.In between you will see fusion and sometimes anti-fusion of modern and classical music. Watch this to understand our traditional musical system,and effort needed to mastery them ,to understand dilemma between Traditional and Modern music ,Young and Old generation,social evil which casts its shadow on our traditional society.Above all watch it for its music which lived by its characters and heartfelt love story which still to conclude.

After watching this riveting Indian Series,I can safely conclude that Indian Directors have mastered the art of connecting stories with day to day life of common people and interconnecting different walks of life with message. Patal Lok is considered as Sacred Games Moment for Prime Video.Though Mirzapur was more engaging and entertaing but this series is more conveincing and has touch of realism in it . Characters in this series are mostly not so well known,as were for Gangs of Wasseypur 2 ,and rest is history. Protagonist (Jaideep Ahlawat) will never let you carve for big names. He is seamless in series.All characters have done justice to their role and keep you glued to screen.I started series at 11:30PM and concluded around 6:30 in Morning with my Wife and coffee. Plot revolves around attempted murder of famous journalist(Neeraj Kabi) and 4 criminals who got supari to kill him.But they could not kill him caught by Delhi police.Then investigation started by police and then transferred to CBI(trys to connect with contemporary scenario) ,then police officer who is investing get suspended,again when CBI reveals story,police and his associate(preparing IAS,Muslim),sees lacuna in story of CBI.Both start their own investigation to unearth who were the victim with obvious political colour to it. Series is gripping though you may find some loose moments or more detailing,but tells you story about family,children,criminal and their making,police officer life and his dilemma ,Muslims situation is present context ,corruption in system,media houses and obvious political colours which ,we are well aware of. Dog angle is best of lot and you must watch this series and may become Dog Lover(to me most beautiful part of series). l To me must watch,not just for entertainment but to for necessary message it trys to convey.
