When I went to see this in theaters, I absolutely loved it. I love the soundtrack, the outfits, the designs, the ending. You know, I almost prefer this over the original: I’m just kind of sad it didn’t do so well in the box office because this would’ve broken the streak of bad Disney live action films. And I love all the Disney live action adaptations. But this one surpasses as the best Disney live action adaptation I have watched since The Lion King live action adaptation. The cast was a perfect choice and Awakfina playing Scuttle, she was hilarious. In the “Kiss the Girl” scene, she went full on funny. It was almost like she didn’t want it to work, which is Ursula’s job

I loved this movie as a child. One of my personal childhood favorites. Even the sequels and show midquels are good
