Personally, I find the direction spot on. I appreciate how they depicted a somehow realistic tug of war for budding romances. Actors don’t need to be theatrical to be convincing. In this show, the actors managed to play true to their character without having to rely on theatrics. Direction is key. Love the storyline and the script. I’m glad they didn’t scrimp on the quality despite the pandemic. This show gives light on working conditions in South Korea; cultural differences, art, education, and their dynamics with politics. Thank you for writing and producing this show.

Changing my review to two stars (from one star) since I enjoyed the business parts of this drama. The one star was unfair given its educational value. However, I'm still not a fan of the transition in this story, particularly for the female lead. We got to know her in the first two episodes but for the rest of the series, she is more of a shallow observer. I don't think she had a voice, more like a sponge that absorbs everything, and anything. I think that's why a lot of people are outraged by the turn of events. For more than 10 episodes, we can't gather much of a reaction from her. And now the last episode is coming up and it feels like some parts are a bit forced.
