its fan service, its like a love letter to old fans. it has references to the fandom from the guest stars of popular youtubers, to easter eggs from the games. it even references sparky the dog, and shadow Freddy. it was a love letter to the people who grew up on Freddy, i feel like anyone who knows anything of the franchise would understand and like this movie. i cant state how much i was dumbfounded with how much it fed my inner child and how much it brought me joy. i loved loved loved it so much and cant wait for everything about it to be found out and torn apart for any lore it has.
