I happened to come across this movie on TV a couple of days back. If you have not watched the original, this is a terrible movie. If you have watched the original, this is just torture! I must confess, I watched only about half hour and it started to give me a real headache! Why not make your own movie if you want to appeal to Rajinikanth's blind followers? Why ruin a great classic from another language? Someone here said 'Stop comparing it to the original'. That person is right! This movie is so bad that it is an absolute insult to even think about comparing to the original. I am shocked with the IMDb rating for this movie! It has to be between 1 and 2. Obviously Rajini's blind followers have given it a highly exaggerated rating.
