⚠️⚠️⚠️WARNING ⚠️⚠️⚠️ (MAY CONTAIN SOME SPOILERS. DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVEN’T SEEN THE MOVIE YET. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK)
There is absolutely no better way to describe this masterpiece of horror better than any other horror movie I’ve ever seen in my 10 years of film experience. This film was gritty, eerie and a creepy, but phenomenal movie.
The whole point of this film was that all of it is supposed to be an escalating nightmare, and it’s so scary when coming to experience something that is truly terrifying and complex to explain to others.
In this film, there’s a long backstory to this “thing that wears people’s faces like masks” or “it pretends to be people or a person, like someone you know or it’s a random stranger” smiling at you like a hallucination.
This “backstory” mentions and involves moments of suicide like a supernatural influence causing people to kill themselves in different unpleasant ways. That’s what makes this entire movie scary, because you’re experiencing something from the past and don’t know where it’s coming from.
