I LOVE this documentary! It shows the ways in which religion is both a wonderful aspect of people's lives and identities and how it simultaneously can be a force for so much judgement and pain for some.

I like the show but yet again there is a central female character who is lame. Why do we constantly have pathetic and weak female leads? At times she appears to be competent, but Simone shows up time and time again as clueless and unable to truly deal with deep issues. Wel worth the watch if you’re looking fir a Netflix binge, but if it’s you’re only weekend, watch something else.
