I think Naruto shippuden was just a teaser cause the main story lays in boruto, and the biggest cliffhanger in anime history, with god like creatures boruto set a different level of enemies so the protagonist has to be powerful too, and also there is a chance for boruto fall into darkness like sasuke did in shippuden if that's the case the series will set it's own league, the manga has the potential to be a strong anime but yet the characters are not that important in boruto side characters won't get the lime light even the sasuke and Naruto gonna be nerfed and set aside cause they are irrelevant in this story so thats fall side of this anime .let's wait and enjoy 🥂
